Non-emergency patient transport (NEPT) services must be issued with a licence in accordance with the Non-Emergency Patient Transport and First Aid Services Act 2003 (the Act) before they can commence transporting patients
Prior to submitting an application for a NEPT licence applicants are encouraged to make themselves familiar with Non-Emergency Patient Transport Regulations 2026 and supporting information including the NEPT clinical practice protocols (CPPs).
