Local Health Service Network Consultations

The latest updates on consultation activities to establish the Local Health Service Networks.

Every person in Victoria should be able to access the right care, in the right place, at the right time – wherever they live.

That's why Local Health Service Networks (Networks) will be formed across Victoria from 1 July 2025. These Networks will be responsible for supporting coordinated care to the Victorian community.

We sought insights from community members and the healthcare workforce to help inform how hospitals work together to provide care as a Network. The survey was open from 22 April to 8 June 2025.

Visit the survey’s Engage Victoria pageExternal Link .

A note on language: This survey used the term hospital to describe public health services in Victoria. Primary care through GPs, private hospitals and community health were not in scope for this survey.
