A list of the prescribed fees for radiation licences

Key messages

  • Fees for 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027 are set out in Tables 1-3.
  • There are no fees associated with applying for a variation to an existing licence or approval.
  • There are no fees associated with applying to transfer an existing management licence.

Please note the following changes in fees under the Radiation Regulations 2017:

  • There are no fees associated with applying for a variation to an existing licence or approval.
  • There are no fees associated with applying to transfer an existing management licence.
  • The fee applicable to an X-ray analysis unit is now dependent on whether the unit is enclosed or non-enclosed.
  • Fee increase for dental 3D Volumetric X-ray units.

1 The fee for a licence to possess more than one radiation source is the sum of the fees for each source.
