Volunteers in Victorian emergency departments

In recognition of the valuable contribution of volunteers in Victorian emergency departments, the Department of Health & Human Services funded the Australian Red Cross to develop the Volunteers in Victorian Emergency Departments (VED) program manual. The manual helps Victorian hospitals to implement, administer and deliver a volunteer program in their emergency department..

The manual, released in August 2010, provides a comprehensive framework for operating an emergency department volunteer program.
