2000 Victorian drug statistics handbook

This handbook is designed to inform alcohol and drug workers, policy makers and planners, students and other members of the general public of the statistics and details of Victorians' alcohol and drug use and related problems. If you want to know how much heroin costs, who is most likely to overdose from benzodiazepines, which groups smoke most, or which part of Victoria has the highest rate of alcoholic liver disease then this book aims to be the reference for that kind of information. Most importantly it highlights the most serious harms that result from alcohol and drug use in Victoria, therein, perhaps indicating where assistance should best begin or most need to continue.
