The Victorian Community Support Services Minimum Data Set (VCSS MDS) collects information about consumers and services provided by organisations funded to deliver the following programs:
- Home and Community Care Program for Younger People (HACC PYP)
- Low-Cost Accommodation Support Programs (LCAP), including
- Community Connections Program (CCP)
- Housing Support for the Aged (HSA)
- Older Persons High Rise Support Program (OPHRP)
- Personal Alert Victoria Response Service (PAVRS)
Submission timelines
The VCSS MDS quarterly data submissions due dates are:
- Quarter 1 - July to September: due 15 October
- Quarter 2 - October to December: due 15 January
- Quarter 3 - January to March: due 15 April
- Quarter 4 - April to June: due 15 July

Data can be validated, submitted, and resubmitted any time the Repository is open. Agencies are encouraged to start submitting data as early as possible to allow time to resubmit any missing, incomplete or corrected data.
The final date for 2026-27 resubmissions is 15 August 2027.

Bulletins
The VCSS MDS bulletin provides information and updates on a range of issues including data quality, data collection and submission, and changes to the data set.
