In Victoria, midwives are authorised to adminster pethidine or morphine in emergency labour under certain conditions.
In Victoria, nurse immunisers may possess and administer vaccines and other Schedule 4 poisons for the treatment of anaphylactic reactions to the vaccines.
Forensic nurse examiners
In Victoria, forensic nurse examiners are authorised to administer azithromycin under certain conditions.
