Annual changes
Each year the department reviews its key health data collections to ensure the data collected:
- supports the department's state and national reporting obligations
- assists service planning and policy development
- reflects changes in funding and service provision arrangements for the coming financial year
- incorporates appropriate feedback from data providers on improvements.
The annual change process is managed by the department’s eHealth Division with stakeholder consultation through the CHMDS Change Management Group.
