Key principles

As One follows 4 main principles:

  • Child-centered approach: Put each child’s safety, wellbeing, and best interests first. The views of children, families, and carers guide decisions.
  • Collaborative practice: Services work together and share information to plan support.
  • Respect and confidentiality: Teams only share information to protect children or support families. They keep personal details private.
  • Continuous improvement: Services review and update their methods to use best practice
