Smile Squad is the Victorian Government's only fully-funded school dental program. It offers free dental services to all Victorian government primary, secondary and specialist schools, including Virtual School Victoria.
We’ll visit your school and provide your students with free dental treatment, oral health packs and oral health information.
Your principal will receive an email from your community dental agency, inviting you to participate. Your local community dental agency will then contact your school directly.
The Smile Squad oral health pack is a vital tool for students as it contains everything they need to support their oral health. Schools are offered the packs for their students every year. Inside each oral health pack you will find:
- toothbrush – junior size for primary and adult size for secondary students
- toothpaste – full size and standard strength fluoride
- oral health brochure with ‘eat well, drink well and clean well’ messages.
Schools are encouraged to accept the oral health packs and distribute to their students.
