In 2018, Mr Charles Scerri QC was appointed by the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services to conduct an investigation under section 144 of the Health Services Act 1988 (Vic) in respect of sexual misconduct allegations made against the former Chairperson of Melbourne Health, Mr Robert Doyle.
