Youth Service System Review. A Review of the Victorian Youth Drug Treatment Service System - Final Report September 2004

In 2003, a large-scale review of Victoria's adult metropolitan drug treatment service system was undertaken by Turning Point Alcohol and Drug Centre. The Service System Review (SSR) (Ritter et al.,2003) identified a need for further exploration of the youth drug treatment service system. Drugs Policy and Services Branch, Department of Human Services (DP&SB), subsequently commissioned Turning Ponit to conduct the Youth Service System Review (YSSR). The YSSR aimed to 'review and make suggestions for change to the Youth Alcohol and Drug Service System, such that the most cost-effective and equitable system can be impremented witin the constraints of the Victorian Alcohol and Drug Services budget'.
