Victorian Health Priorities Framework 2012-2022: Rural and Regional Health Plan

The Victorian Health Plan is Victoria’s plan for a healthier future.

The plan reflects the Victorian Government's commitment to delivering the best healthcare outcomes possible and ensuring people are as healthy as they can be.

The foundation of the Victorian Health Plan is the Victorian Health Priorities Framework 2012–2022. The framework’s purpose is to lay out a clear, coordinated agenda for the future of the entire Victorian health system. It provides principles to guide decision making and prioritisation of innovation, investment and actions.

The framework is the basis for three supporting plans:

  • Metropolitan Health Plan
  • Rural and Regional Health Plan
  • Health Capital and Resources Plan
