Standarising paediatric procedural sedation in ED 2011-12 Final Report

A project to standardise procedural sedation for children attending emergency departments (EDs) in Victoria could benefit more than 300,000 children and their families each year. The project, which was implemented in 14 Victorian EDs, has standardised the administration of sedation to children who need to undergo a procedure as part of their diagnosis or treatment.
