This report contains the findings of a supplementary survey conducted as part of the 1996 Victorian School Students and Drug Use report. The supplementary survey included questions relating to students' access to alcohol and cigarettes and the extent to which they believed the use of licit and illicit drugs was dangerous. It also looked at these beliefs and issues in relation to the students' ethnicity, issues of supervision, interpersonal relationships and the level of support available to students associated with substance use.
