Report to the Minister for Health from the Expert Panel on Hand Hygiene

The report of the Expert Panel provides examples of high level compliance strategies including a range of broader complementary strategies and recommendations. To replicate these successes there must be a broad expectation and acceptance that appropriate hand hygiene is the business of every healthcare worker. Themes include enhancing management and consumer engagement systems aimed at improving hand hygiene compliance.
