Report from an expert panel established to investigate the data on deaths from malnutrition and dehydration in Victorian hospitals. The panel reviewed the data and the findings of the case note review and concluded: there is no evidence of inadequate care. Nor was there evidence that remediable malnutrition or dehydration was not recognised and/or not treated in the cohort of patients in Victorian hospitals between 2008 - 2011.
