The heroin overdose prevention initiative is a collaborative project involving the Department of Human Services, as well as key players in the management of issues around injecting drug use. The key messages were developed with the sector and users to communicate the key risk factors around heroin overdose. This is the fourth key message in a suite of materials comprising posters, stickers and wallet cards that have been distributed through NSPs and alcohol and drug services.
