The Department of Health and Human Services has developed this strategy to promote and drive a consistent approach to facilitating cultural change, ensuring equity and diversity, addressing bullying and harassment and promoting the safety of staff and patients.

The strategy focuses on strengthening leadership and accountability; building the capability within the health sector to act and respond appropriately and creating a positive environment that promotes and supports both staff and patient safety.
