Pesticides are substances used to manage pests. They are toxic and if used carelessly they may damage the health of the person applying the pesticide, the health of other people in the community and the environment. This brochure is designed to better inform Victorians of the risks involved and the safety precautions that can be taken to minimise exposure to these substances when using a commercial pest control service.
