Filmmaker Jill Rice and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre nurse researcher Allison Hatton have produced a DVD to help people diagnosed with lung cancer.

Patients, clinicians and carers were consulted for the Lung Cancer: Understanding, Managing and Living DVD which also features Peter Mac patients.

Cancer Australia, the Cancer Council Victoria, The Australian Lung Foundation and Peter Mac funded the DVD.

Lung Cancer: Understanding, Managing and Living looks at what happens when a person is diagnosed with lung cancer, what treatments are available and living with a diagnosis.

It provides both expert medical information from a team of health professionals involved in caring for people with lung cancer, as well as experiences from people living with lung cancer.

The DVD is free.
