Seymour selects super staff

Seymour Health recently announced the winners of its peer-nominated 2020 staff excellence awards program.

The awards recognise the commitment individuals have made to the delivery of Seymour Health services, enhancing engagement and reinforcing positive behaviours in the workplace.

The Seymour Health Staff Excellence Awards were introduced by the workforce development committee in 2018.

‘These awards are especially significant as the winners have been recognised by their peers for the level of excellence they display in their day-to-day work,’ said Seymour Health Chief Executive Officer Ward Steet.

The awards were open to all employees and volunteers of Seymour Health.

Winners were:

Outstanding volunteer award – Leonie Cashmere, Barrabill House (RAC facility) volunteer;

Excellence in consumer care and engagement – Evie Parker (acute services) and Brooke Ryan (acute services);

Excellence in leadership – Chris Freeman (acute services);

Excellence in modelling organisational values – Kim Edwards (Barrabill House);

Outstanding contribution – Vickie Callaghan (executive) and Toni Wilson (community services).
