The Department of Health and Human Services and the Australian Digital Health Agency have developed a range of resources that are available for download and use by your health service via the links below.
Provider awareness toolkit
In consultation with health services across Victoria, the department have developed the Provider awareness toolkit (the Toolkit) to support activities for the My Health Record Expansion Program at your health service.
Our aim is for this Toolkit to assist your health service in ensuring all targeted healthcare providers and front line hospital staff achieve primary awareness of the benefits of My Health Record and the key consumer messaging for the expansion program.
Specifically this means that targeted healthcare providers and key front line staff in your health service will be aware of:
- the benefits of using My Health Record within the context of your organisation, and
- the change in the consumer participation model from an opt in to an opt out model.
The Toolkit can be accessed via the link below and includes posters, fact sheets, Frequently Asked Questions, guides and links to all resources on the department's website and the Agency's My Health Record nation website. All posters are able to be ordered and printed on demand at no cost to your health service, to place an order contact the Digital Health - Standards and Advisory team.
