On 30 June 2017 the Department of Health and Human Services convened a forum to bring together staff from Victorian health services to discuss current work being undertaken to improve worker safety, particularly in relation to responding to occupational violence and aggression.
The forum provided an opportunity to hear about and discuss the Reducing Violence in Victorian Hospitals strategy; some of the initiatives health services are implementing to create a safety culture; consumer perspectives on safety; and aspects of post-incident responses.
Presentations from the day have been made available to share learnings among health services.
