On 20 June 2017 the Department of Health and Human Services convened a forum to bring together Chief Executives and board members of all Victorian health services to discuss current work being undertaken to improve worker safety, particularly in relation to responding to occupational violence and aggression.
The forum offered an opportunity for participants to hear about the Reducing Violence in Victorian Hospitals strategy; discuss the legal aspects of addressing occupational violence and reflect on initiatives underway in some health services to create a safety culture.
Presentations from the day have been made available to share learnings among health services.
