National Health Reform agreement 2011

This agreement implements National Health Reform as agreed by the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) Heads of Agreement on National Health Reform in February 2011. The aim of this agreement was to improve health outcomes for all Australians and the sustainability of the Australian health system. This Agreement set out the architecture of National Health Reform, which aimed to deliver major structural reforms, in particular funding reform, to establish the foundations of Australia’s future health system.
