Victoria responds to the flood emergency

Victoria is currently experiencing a flood emergency, and services are rallying together to support impacted communities.

Rochester and Elmore District Health Service

Flood waters entirely engulfed the Rochester and Elmore District Health Service, now a disaster zone. Here’s how the service continued to serve the health needs of their community.

    Seymour Health

    On Thursday 13 October, Seymour was issued a major flood warning, and the staff at Seymour Health were put on evacuation alert.

      Shepparton Search and Rescue Squad

      The Shepparton Search and Rescue Squad have been serving the local community for over 50 years.

      During the floods they have been delivering vital medications by rescue boats to residents cut off by the flooding.
