Department of Health

Applications now open for the providers of Victoria’s first Statewide Trauma Service

The Statewide Trauma Service will be located within the new Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing, delivering a range of functions including translational research, capability uplift, and service coordination and delivery.

To ensure that the service establishes genuine, collaborative partnerships with a diversity of stakeholders, the Call for Funding Submission process will be seeking a consortium with the appropriate range of experience, expertise and vision for the delivery of the STS.

The department will fund and work with the appointed consortium to develop the foundations of the STS, including a workplan to codesign the research, capability uplift, and service delivery functions of the service.

Applications are now open, and will close on Friday 19 August.

The Call for Funding Submission reflects the feedback of a broad range of community and sector stakeholders, including those with lived and living experience of trauma and their families, carers, and supporters.
