In May the Department of Health held a series of mental health and wellbeing sector forums.
The purpose of these in-person and online events was to hear from the mental health and wellbeing sector about their experiences of the reform program so far and to discuss our shared priorities for the next few years.
Following these forums, we produced a report to summarise the contributions of the hundreds of participants from across and beyond the mental health and wellbeing sector, and the thousands of individual pieces of feedback we received.
The report provides a comprehensive picture of the sector's experiences, priorities and ambitions for the reformed mental health and wellbeing system.
The department is currently using insights from the forums, along with feedback from other engagement channels, to guide and shape the next phase of the reform program.
We will be sharing further information in the coming months and look forward to continuing these important conversations across the sector.
