Victorians are invited to have their say on a key reform recommended by the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System.
The Victorian Government is seeking feedback on the draft Mental Health and Wellbeing Outcomes and Performance Framework.
The new framework aims to support the best possible mental health and wellbeing outcomes for all Victorians.
Victoria is building a better mental health and wellbeing system, with work now underway on more than 90 per cent of reforms recommended by the Royal Commission.
The new Mental Health and Wellbeing Outcomes and Performance Framework is essential to system reform.
The framework will drive shared responsibility and accountability for mental health and wellbeing outcomes across government. It will provide a way to understand and measure the impact of our reforms and the difference they make to people’s lives.
More than 200 people with experience of the mental health system contributed to the development of the draft framework during a series of workshops.
People interested in providing feedback on aspects of the new framework can participate in a short survey on the Engage Victoria website.
The survey will uncover the strengths of the draft framework and help identify improvements.
