Coronavirus update for Victoria - 9 December 2020

Victoria has recorded no new cases of coronavirus since yesterday and there are no cases currently active.

Victoria has recorded no new cases of coronavirus since yesterday and there are no cases currently active.

This is the 40th straight day where Victoria has recorded zero daily cases. There were no new deaths and the state’s death toll remains at 820.

A total of 3,651,779 test results have been received in Victoria which is an increase of 11,578 since yesterday.

A permit is required to enter Victoria from South Australia unless an exemption applies. Permits are available from the Service Victoria website.

All Victorians are urged to get tested if they have any symptoms, no matter how mild. Testing site details, including opening hours, are available on the Where to get tested page.
