Health Services and Cemeteries Model annual reporting guidelines and pro-forma 2017-18
The Health Services Model annual reporting guidelines 2017-18 and the Cemeteries Model annual reporting guidelines 2017-18 provides information to reporting entities under the Health portfolio, on their annual reporting obligations.
The guidelines have been prepared to meet the requirements of:
- the Financial Management Act 1994 (the Act)
- Standing Directions of the Minister for Finance under the Act
- Financial Reporting Directions and
- the National Health Reform Agreement
The guidelines illustrate minimum disclosure requirements. If additional disclosures aid readers in gaining a better understanding of the service provider, then these should be included in the annual report in consultation with your Auditor.
For 2017-18, the guidelines have been separated from the model report for ease of reading. An excel workbook is also attached for use but is not mandatory.
Reporting entities should also refer to the Department of Treasury and Finance website for full descriptions on applicable FRDs, Standing Directions, DTF Model report, accounting policies, and the Long Service Leave Model for reference.
Also available for download on this page is the Long Service Leave template as required for reporting to DHHS and the Wage Inflation and discount rates at 31 May 2018 for the measurement of employee entitlement liabilities.
