Allied Health Works
Allied Health Works promotes allied health careers in rural and regional Victoria by building regional capacity and coordination for allied health workforce recruitment and retention, and through the provision of professional support.
Continuing Professional Development Works (CPDWorks) supports the recruitment and retention of Victoria's allied health workforce through improving access to continuing professional development (CPD). The program seeks to enhance and increase access for practitioners to professional support, particularly those working in rural and remote locations, through the delivery of a range of inter-professional presentations tailored to allied health practitioners.
The Mentoring Program seeks to improve the recruitment and retention of allied health practitioners working in health and community services across rural Victoria by developing and facilitating mentoring opportunities to support professional and career related self-development in the workplace.
Regional Allied Health Works (RAHWorks) is responsible for the promotion and implementation of the department's allied health recruitment and retention projects across rural and regional Victoria. RAHWorks program managers are based in each of the department's non-metropolitan regions and provide a key liaison role between rural health and community services, allied health practitioners and the department's allied health workforce policy area.

Scholarships
The Department also fund the Victorian Healthcare Association (VHA) to administer Rural Allied Health undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships and CPD subsidies. These scholarships provide support to students from rural areas to participate in undergraduate allied health studies and rural allied health practitioners to undertake postgraduate studies. The CPD subsidies support allied health practitioners and assistants to participate in professional development opportunities and conferences.
