Our approach to health workforce planning

The department has developed an overall blueprint for workforce planning to assist in describing the process and the roles and responsibilities for health workforce planning in Victoria.

In Victoria we have a matrix approach to managing this risk in which department manages overall Statewide risks and individual health services manage the organisational level risks.
