Victorian Medicines Advisory Committee

The Victorian Medicines Advisory Committee (VMAC) advises the Department of Human Services and leads the strategic direction and policy development for Quality Use of Medicines (QUM) in Victoria.

The VMAC leads the application of the National Medicines Policy and the National Strategy for QUM in Victorian hospitals and at the interface with primary care settings.

The Victorian Medicines Advisory Committee replaces the Victorian Drug Usage Advisory Committee (VDUAC).
