Victorian Consultative Council on Anaesthetic Mortality and MorbidityThe Victorian Consultative Council on Anaesthetic Mortality and Morbidity (VCCAMM) was established in 1976 under Section 13 of the Health Act 1958. The VCCAMM now operates pursuant to Section 24 of the Health Act 1958 (as amended). The function of VCCAMM is to identify avoidable causes of morbidity or mortality related to anaesthesia and to disseminate as widely as possible, the results of deliberations in order to improve the safety and quality of anaesthesia practice.
