Victorian State Trauma System Outreach Program (VSTOP) Pilot ProgramThe Victorian State Trauma System Outreach Program (VSTOP) was developed to promote the Victorian State Trauma System across Victorian hospitals and health services. Specifically, VSTOP provides an opportunity for clinicians not working at a major trauma service (MTS) to observe trauma patient management at a MTS. The MTSs are The Royal Melbourne Hospital, The Alfred and the Royal Children’s Hospital. This pilot program is now closed to new applicants. The pilot program is currently under evaluation. The outcomes of the pilot will be considered by the State Trauma Committee, the three major trauma services and the Department of Health to determine the future directives of the initiative. If you recently participated in the pilot program, please follow the link below to the pilot survey. Results from the survey will inform the evaluation.
