Overview

The Department of Human Services have contracted The Nous Group to run the Victorian Health Boards Governance Program (VHBG Program). The program is aimed at all public sector health service board directors and members across Victoria, and offers a number of different workshops that cater to various levels of skill and experience. The program has been designed using extensive consultation with current board directors and members to ensure that it is relevant and deals with key issues of health service governance.

The program includes the following workshops:

We suggest that you have 12 months between attending the Foundation and Advanced workshop. This will enable you to put into practice some of the skills learnt from the Foundation workshop before you attend the Advanced workshop and enhance those skills further.
