Public Health Research Expert Advisory Panel

A key strategy outlined in the Public Health Research Policy Statement ‘New Knowledge for Improved Health’ is the creation of an expert panel to advise the Public Health Branch on research matters. In particular, the Expert Panel is an important forum for the discussion of research priorities, new developments and emerging concerns, and strategies for improving the translation of research to practice.

Following a competitive application process, the inaugural membership of the Public Health Research Expert Advisory Panel (PHREAP) was confirmed by the Minister for Health. Members include:

  • Professor Dallas English
