Talking With Your Doctor resources
The Talking with your doctor resources were launched at the Great Healthcare Challenge conference on 13 October 2011. These resources aim to help older Victorians get the most out of their conversations with their doctor.
The Talking With Your Doctor guide covers information on a range of topics, including:

- Preparing for your appointment
- Getting started with a new doctor
- Talking to your doctor
- Communicating effectively
- Asking questions
- Making decisions with your doctor
- Talking to specialists
- Talking about sensitive issues
- Evaluating health information on the Internet.
Accompanying the guide is the Talking with your doctor DVD which comprises a range of short video clips.
