What is the Victorian Travelling Fellowship?

The Victorian Travelling Fellowship Program (VTFP), a joint initiative of the Victorian Quality Council (VQC) and the Department of Health, offers emerging leaders in healthcare quality and safety an exciting opportunity to undertake international travel to investigate new and innovative approaches to addressing priority quality and safety issues.

The purpose of the fellowship

The purpose of the fellowship is to increase innovation in healthcare quality and safety, and to improve patient care by encouraging international learning and information sharing that focuses on enhancing healthcare in Victoria so that it meets and exceeds community expectations. Further to this, the VTFP aims to support the development of emerging leaders in healthcare quality and safety.
