Conference SponsorshipPage contents: Background | Current status | Previous successful applicants BackgroundThe VQC has been sponsoring Health Service delegates and VQC members to attend safety and quality health care conferences since 2003. The intent of conference sponsorship is to provide education and increase awareness of safety and quality issues across the Victorian public health care system and is offered specifically as an initiative under the VQC’s strategic objective of Enhancing Clinical Leadership. Participation in these important quality and safety conferences provides delegates with opportunities to meet with leading industry contacts and hear international and local speakers addressing practical themes around corporate and clinical topics in health care. Current statusIn 2011, the Victorian Quality Council sponsored representatives from 48 health services to attend the Great HealthCare Challenge, held in Melbourne on 11-14 October.Previous Successful applicants
