Unintentionally being wrong in content or judgement. Errors may occur by doing the wrong thing (commission) or by failing to do the right thing (omission). (MJA 2006)

When an error occurs at work an adverse event may be the outcome

Did you make any errors at home yesterday? Click this icon to display the answer

For example:

  • Lost the keys

  • Forgot the oven was on

  • Dropped a glass

  • Left something behind

  • Ran late for an appointment

  • Forgot to pick up something at the shops
