VQC Strategic plan 2008-2012Page content: Overview | Download document OverviewThe Victorian Quality Council (VQC) was established in 2001, for an initial three-year term, as an expert strategic advisory group to lead the safety and quality agenda for Victorian health care services. The Minister subsequently approved a second term and in 2008 approved the current term which runs over a four year period, from 1 July 2008 to 30 June 2012. The VQC has developed a third term, four year plan that outlines their values, vision, mission and objectives. The Plan is Council’s blueprint for a strategic approach to improving the safety and quality of Victorian health care. The Plan builds on the significant body of work achieved in terms one and two as well as introducing new areas that reflect advances in the rapidly changing safety and quality arena.
