Managing your pain

The VQC has developed a revised version of the original patient brochure developed in the APMMT to support patient’s to understand how their pain will be managed.

The new brochure is available in two versions, one for organisations with Acute Pain Services and one for all other health services.

Having problems printing?

Printing

Many office printers will print the brochure with the second page upside down.

To ensure the brochure prints correctly you will need to change your printer's default setting. To do this:

  1. Open brochure
  2. Select Print
  3. Open your printer’s properties
  4. Select double sided printing
(Often a checkbox with an option for ‘Duplex’ or ‘Print on Both Sides’)
  5. Select top bind printing
(Often a checkbox with an option for ‘Open to Top’ or ‘Flip Pages Up’)
  6. Print

Please note: If health services plan to utilise professional printers the VQC can supply print optimised versions of the brochures.

Download documents

Please note: Neither of these documents is available from the VQC in hard copy format. They are intended to be downloaded and integrated into your organisation's consumer information.
