Victorian Public Health and Wellbeing Plan

The Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 requires the Minister for Health to prepare a State Public Health and Wellbeing Plan every four years from September 2011. The Victorian Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2011 - 2015 was released on 1 September 2011.

The Victorian Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2015 - 2019 is currently being developed and will be released on 1 September 2015.

Consultation for the Victorian Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2015 – 2019

Key stakeholders are invited to provide feedback on the development of the next Victorian Public Health and Wellbeing Plan. The consultation paper provides an overview of the framework of the next Plan and the proposed objectives, priorities and outcome measures.

Comment is sought specifically on six questions outlined in the consultation paper.  Please use the proforma below to provide your feedback.  Responses should be forwarded to prevention@dhhs.vic.gov.au by the closing date of Wednesday 1 July 2015.

Victorian Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2011 - 2015

The Victorian Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2011-2015 aims to improve the health and wellbeing of all Victorians by engaging communities in prevention, and by strengthening systems for health protection, health promotion and preventive healthcare across all sectors and all levels of government.
