Health Champions

Health Champions is a new initiative to support everyday people improve their own health, and to influence the health of their families and friends in the places where they live, work, learn, and play.   The initiative will operate across 14 local government areas and is part of Victoria’s comprehensive approach to preventing long-term or chronic disease that will be delivered through the Prevention Community Model (PCM). 

The Western Region Health Centre has been appointed to manage and deliver the Health Champions initiative across the PCM.

Health Champions initiative is one of the local initiatives that form part of the Victorian Healthy Eating Enterprise.
