Victorian health policy and funding guidelines 2012-13

The Victorian health policy and funding guidelines articulates the performance and financial framework within which state government-funded health sector entities operate. They are a reference for funded organisations regarding the parameters that they are expected to work to and within, as well as the funding linked to various services, in order to achieve the expected outcomes of the Victorian Government.

There are three parts to the Victorian health policy and funding guidelines:

Part one: Key changes and new initiatives
Provides an overview of the 2012-13 health budget and new program, policy and funding changes.

Part two: Health operations
Outlines the specific policy, funding and reporting requirements for funded organisations.

Part three: Technical guidelines
Provides the technical aspects of the operation of hospital funding models and payment rates.
