Licence applications

There are three application forms for the Licence to use pesticides:

  • One for fully qualified technicians
  • One for trainees who are currently undertaking training in a prescribed course
  • One for technicians who reside in another State or Territory of Australia and who hold a valid licence as an authorised user of pesticides in that State or Territory, and who wish to operate in Victoria.

Current fees

Licence application and renewal fees will increase on 1 July 2009 in line with the Reserve Bank's consumer price index. Any licence applications or renewals received and/or processed from 1 July 2009 will be subject to the following fees:

  • Technician licence - $528.40
  • Trainee licence - $175.40
  • Interstate Operator licence - $57.30
