Births

In 2003-2004 the crude birth rate per 1,000 estimated female resident population (E.F.R.P.) between 15-44 years was 58.7, a decrease from 62.8 per 1,000 in 1985. The total number of births in 2003 was 63,450 and the total number of births in 2004 was 63,503.
